There's nothing more satisfying than strolling through an ornamental garden! A garden with mindfully selected plants not only leads to a beautiful space, but it could also bring in vital pollinators and improved soil health, depending on what plants you're working with. In this class, we'll go over the principles of ornamental garden design such as creating garden aesthetics, and choosing the best native plants for your garden. We'll also go over perennials vs. annuals, and we'll practice designing your garden space and looking at your garden with a fresh eye for aesthetics.
This class is part of a series. Any participant is welcome to drop in on any class. During the 2nd half of class, we may work in local gardens, so come dressed for gardening if you'd like to join us!
