Our upcoming project focuses on the design and restoration of the Seven Layer Food Forest garden, where we will implement Permaculture principles for a holistic approach to ecological systems restoration.
By planting fruit trees, native shrubs, and creating pathways for people to enjoy, we are not only enhancing the beauty of the garden but also providing a valuable resource for the community. During our workshop, we will showcase the importance of a whole system approach in creating a food forest that benefits both people and the environment.
One of the highlights of the workshop will be a demonstration on how to plant a fruit tree. Participants will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and plant alongside us, contributing to the diversification of low-maintenance fruit sources for generations to come. This hands-on experience will not only educate and inspire participants but also empower them to make a positive impact in their own communities.
Join us at Happy Place Community Garden as we come together to learn, grow, and create a sustainable future for all.
At Happy Place Community Garden, we are dedicated to creating a thriving and sustainable environment through hands-on workshops and service-learning opportunities.
