- In this introductory online workshop, former Houstonian and permaculture practitioner Mickey Kleinhenz will share how integrated permaculture principles are brought to life at Rainbow Bridge Permaculture Farm in Hawai‘i. Participants will be guided through the foundations of integrated systems thinking, exploring how ecological design, social structures, and community culture can be woven into a resilient whole.
- Drawing from the experiences at Rainbow Bridge, Mickey will explore how small-and-slow growth, cooperative leadership, relational permaculture, and social permaculture practices shape the rhythms of intentional community life. Attendees will see how patterns-to-details thinking influences land stewardship, food systems, communication, shared labor, and community agreements, while nurturing a participatory culture grounded in shared reciprocity and trust.
Gain a deeper understanding of how permaculture principles transition from theory to daily practice, and how intentional relationship-building and healthy culture creation can support thriving communities, neighborhoods, organizations, and collaborative projects in your region.
