Angela Chandler

More variety, less work! This is a management system that will allow you to plant more fruits in the space you already have without climbing ladders or using complicated tools and equi[meant. You will harvest enough fruit for fresh eating, preserving, and sharing from trees that are easy to care for and highly ornamental.

Angela Chandler is a lifelong gardener and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion with others. She and her husband tend a 1/2-acre micro-homestead, growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and bee-friendly plants.  Angela is currently a member of the Garden Writers Association, the California Rare Fruit Growers Association, and the Louisiana Society for Horticultural Research, as well as being a retired Texas Master Gardener. She has written feature articles in gardening magazines, appeared as a guest on both TV & Radio shows, spoken around the country at various events, and currently teaches a monthly class for the Urban Harvest/Houston Museum of Natural Science. Her website, The Garden Academy, provides its readers with a variety of gardening information geared specifically towards Gulf Coast gardens.

Registration will close 24 hours prior to classes Monday - Saturday and 48 hours before all Sunday classes.

(After registration you will receive two emails, one is a receipt and the other will be sent prior to the class with event details that include zoom link and contact information. Contact (education@urbanharvest.org for questions)
