    In this dynamic and interactive course series, we offer teaching techniques encouraging ways to apply permaculture principles and strategies in a wide range of educational settings. Participants will build confidence by engaging in essential practice through preparing and co-teaching a variety of presentations. The course provides an opportunity for participants to follow a path toward Right Livelihood.

    Sharing information is Regenerative, Empowering and Part of the Permaculture Solution.

    How the Winter 2025 Online Permaculture Teacher Training is structured:
    Participants watch on-demand video recordings before each LIVE Zoom meeting. During the LIVE Zoom Meetings there will be check-ins, Q & A's, interactive learning, breakout sessions, action planning and participant presentations.

    When: 2025 Saturdays January 11 & 18 February 1, 9 & 22 March 1 & 8

    Times:
    Pacific Standard Time: 8-12am
    Central Standard Time: 10-2pm
    Eastern Standard Time: 11-3pm

    The spacing of classes is to allow time needed for meeting outside of class with other participants to develop presentations.

    This Cascadia Permaculture Teacher Training Course is presented by Jude Hobbs of Cascadia Permaculture, Carol Burton of Urban Harvest and co-sponsored by Cascadia Permaculture and Urban Harvest, Inc.

    Presenters
    Jude Hobbs is an internationally recognized Permaculture Instructor with over 38 years’ experience in design and teaching. As an educator, she conveys her passion for permaculture by providing curricula developed to be accessible, inspiring, and information rich. Jude’s intention is to change the educational paradigm.

    Carol Burton is Urban Harvest’s Director of Permaculture with over twenty years of experience in community gardening and environmental education. Carol is a certified teacher and curriculum specialist in environmental education. She is a certified in Permaculture Design and a recipient of the Elizabeth Hull Abernathy Award from the Garden Club of America for outstanding contributions to environmental education of youth.
