  • In regards to seed germination, there may be more factors to think about than just placing them in soil and watering the plot. Some seeds germinate at specific times of the year when the soil is within a certain temperature range, and some seeds germinate when the days are longer. In this class, we'll go over the best practices in starting seeds indoors and outdoors. We will also go over what equipment is needed such as grow lights, greenhouses, pots, and soil.

This class is part of a series. Any participant is welcome to drop in on any class. During the 2nd half of class, we may work in local gardens, so come dressed for gardening if you'd like to join us!
