For thousands of years, we've utilized herbs in the culinary world for its fragrant and crisp components, as well as in the medicinal world for its varied healing properties. In this class, we'll go over the uses and benefits of certain herbs and the monthly dos and don'ts in plant care. We'll also discuss how to source certain herbs, how to harvest them, and how to use them.
This class is part of a series. Any participant is welcome to drop in on any class. During the 2nd half of class, we may work in local gardens, so come dressed for gardening if you'd like to join us!

Janice Brown has over 20 years of gardening experience on the Gulf Coast. She is the owner of On the Grow Garden, coaching service which has been serving the Houston Metro area for 10 years. She's a Master Gardener and Master Naturalist who uses her extensive knowledge to coach new gardeners to gardening success.
