  3. African Violets and Propagation (Opportunity Center)
  • African Violets and Propagation (Opportunity Center) logo
  • African Violets beautify any space you set them in, are pet safe, and bloom multiple times a year - what more could you ask for? In this class, we'll go over some of the common propagation techniques for this plant such as grafting, air layering, seed starting, and cuttings. We'll also discuss the equipment needed, and we'll get to practice some propagation techniques together.

This class is part of a series. Any participant is welcome to drop in on any class. During the 2nd half of class, we may work in local gardens, so come dressed for gardening if you'd like to join us!
