Growing Your Own Fresh Cut Flowers

With a little planning, the right plant selection, and care, there's still time to create a beautiful cut flower garden this summer. We’ll discuss the best soil, location, and flower selections for our zone. There will be a demo on how to arrange your flowers in a vase or as a wrapped bouquet for gift giving.

LaShan Arceneaux is a lifelong gardener and the farmer florist at Saturday Bouquet, a micro flower and herb farm.  Her specialties are zinnia breeding and the business side of farming. Some of her earliest memories are playing in the dirt and picking flowers.
